In just two years, Moscow Bar Show has become the major event in Russia’s professional drinks calendar, bringing together the bar community from across Russia and the CIS region to experience educational presentations, seminars and demonstrations from the very best international drinks and bar experts.

Moscow Bar Show has also created a platform for international drinks brands to engage with the Russian industry to form key trading partnerships, and to share premium imported spirits with the region’s professional bartending community. Moscow Bar Show has introduced the Russian bar business to the rest of the World, essential for the growth of the industry in this vibrant economy.

Moscow Bar Show’s success relies on a unique partnership; In 2010 PIR Exhibitions Group of Moscow (champions of the Russian hospitality sector, leading the market with the annual PIR exhibition) joined forces with international bar industry stalwart Andy Bishop (founder of London Bar Show). Together their experience and contacts have created one of the finest events of its kind in the world.

Nearly 7,500 professional trade professionals visited Moscow Bar Show 2012, with 70% of visitors coming from outside Moscow, illustrating the huge interest and enthusiasm for this event. Many international brand owners and regional representatives also visit to support local distributors and to gain unique insight into the potential of this vast new spirits market.

Moscow Bar Show invests heavily in education and in 2012 provided several free to attend presentation and seminar areas running a full programme throughout the event. The Main Stage is the heart of Moscow Bar Show, and delivers drinks presentations from some of the world’s most highly acclaimed experts. MBS 2012 saw presentations from Tony Abou Ganim (USA), Marian Beke (UK), Jeff Berry (USA) Mal Evans (UK) Simone Caporale and Giuseppe Gallo (Italy) and the Bartender Brothers (Russia). Elsewhere demo bars run brand presentations for a wide range of premium drinks categories. Dedicated Bar Talks and Design Talks theatres run seminars that give advice on venue management, venue design and operational management.

1st – 3rd October 2013 will see Moscow Bar Show once again welcome the bar community of Russia and the CIS Region, with a growing reputation as one of the world’s leading drinks events. Moscow Bar Show is anticipated to grow in 2013, with more Russian and international exhibitors presenting more premium drinks brands to the rapidly developing Russian drinks sector. Increased marketing throughout the region and the world through specialist media channels will ensure an increase of visitors attending the show.
